RIPFEST collaborative film project in New York City, NY & Los Angeles, CA RIP FEST has been called "boot camp for aspiring film makers" by New York Cool.

Here's what happens at RIPFest:
At the first meeting, 5 teams of artists who've never met are announced ' each comprised of: a writer, producer, director, composer, editor, DP, group of actors (2-5), & a small crew. The teams are given guidelines to create a 5-10 minute DV film. Then they have 2 days to write a first draft, 3 days for rewrites, 2 days for pre-production, & then 2 days to shoot the film. 1 week for post production & 16 days after the first time everyone met, the films are premiered!
